Kevin Otos teaches a variety of performance courses in the BFA Acting, and Drama and Theatre Studies programs. A member of Actor's Equity, some favorite roles include Mark Antony in Julius Caesar, Antonio in The Merchant of Venice, and Yepikhodov in The Cherry Orchard. In addition to his stage credits, Kevin has also appeared on television, film, and in a number of television commercials. Also a director, his directorial credits range from Shakespeare's comedy Twelfth Night to Simon Stephen's post-modern Pornography.
Kevin's Bachelor's degrees in Theatre and Psychology was completed at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University. He earned his Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Florida State University's Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training, studying with an outstanding faculty including José Quintero, the legendary, Tony Award-winning interpreter of Eugene O'Neill's plays.
Kevin's research interests include acting pedagogy and physical comedy, particularly Meisner, commedia dell'Arte, and art and history of the theatrical Clown.
