This page is for students who have been approved by their universities to study abroad on the Granada, Spain Program. If you have not been approved to study abroad through your host institution please see How to Apply under Program Overview.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
PASSPORT: Your passport must be valid for 6 months after the end of the program, so apply or renew your passport immediately! We will collect your passport by late April for Fall and late September for spring as part of the visa application process.
DO NOT TRAVEL DURING VISA APPLICATION PERIOD: You are required to apply for a Spanish visa to participate. Your physical passport will be sent to the Consulate as part of the visa application and you will not have access to it during the visa application period. This will approximately be:
Fall program: late April to late July
Spring program: late September to late-December.
Do not plan international travel during these periods.
If you cannot avoid international travel and you are a U.S. passport holder, you may apply for a for your individual travel so that you can submit your regular passport to obtain the visa. Plan well in advance for this, because you are required to submit your regular passport along with the application for a 2nd passport book.
The Approved Student Application button below will take you to the online portal to begin the enrollment process. Most required materials will be completed and submitted using the online program portal. The visa application materials must be submitted in hard copy by mail.
