Academics

While studying at the Linköping University students take regular university courses taught in English and can choose to take a beginning level Swedish language course. A pre-semester Intensive Swedish Language Course is available before the fall and spring semesters. Courses are available for a large range of majors. Find a in English on Linköping's website. The undergraduate level is marked with codes starting with G such as G1X or G2X.

The Faculty of Arts and Science includes courses taught in English in Business and Globalization, Computer Science, Economics, Environmental Science, History, International Studies, European and Nordic Studies, Politics, Sustainability majors are encouraged to consider Linköping. Please contact an advisor with any questions about courses.

Linköping offers an exchange studies program specifically in Business Administration and Economics. Suggested course packages are offered, though students can mix and match classes between these packages if desired. See more details on the

Housing

Students live in university housing with other international and Swedish students. The accommodation is located near the campus.

Dates

The Linköping program is available during either fall or spring semester. The fall semester starts mid-August and ends mid-January; spring semester starts mid-January and ends early June. Although the fall semester ends in January, many courses end in late December. Also, it may be possible for students to take their finals early or when they return to ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ, however, students must make arrangements with their professors when they arrive at Linköping to take the finals early or after they are back in the U.S. Professors are not obligated to allow changes to the finals schedule or location. Students considering studying at Linköping during the fall semester should contact the Study Abroad Advisor.
