Tuition Exchange and Tuition Benefits

ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University participates in two tuition exchange programs: The Tuition Exchange and Great Lakes Tuition Remission Exchange. ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University employees and their dependents can qualify for Tuition Benefits.

At ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University & PNCA, the TE scholarship amount is the annual Tuition Exchange Set Rate (for 2024-25, that amount is $42,000) for up to 8 semesters. This program is available for undergraduate students.

  • How to apply: First, apply for admission to ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University/PNCA. Then contact the Tuition Exchange Liaison Officer (TELO) at the school where the student’s parent is employed (usually someone in the Human Resources Office). The TELO will certify the student’s eligibility for each of the schools that the student is applying to. ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University will then select scholarship recipients from the list of certified students.
  • Deadline: Students must be certified by the TELO and be admitted to ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University College of Arts and Science or PNCA BFA program by February 1st. Students who apply for Admission by November 15th will be given priority consideration.
  • Notification: ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Financial Aid Office will communicate Tuition Exchange decisions usually by mid-March. Students will be notified if they are selected as a recipient, not selected, or put on a wait list. Wait list decisions will be made no later than May 15th.
  • How this scholarship can affect other aid eligibility: The Tuition Exchange Scholarship will replace any ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University/PNCA merit scholarship and/or grant funding that the student might have been previously offered. Students can receive, if they meet all other eligibility criteria, federal and state grants, student loans, private scholarships, and/or Federal Work Study in addition to their Tuition Exchange Scholarship.

The Great Lakes Colleges Association (GLCA) operates the GLCA Tuition Remission Exchange (TRE) program. If admitted to ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University, students eligible for tuition remission because of parental employment at one of the participating colleges will qualify for GLCA-TRE at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University. This scholarship covers 100% of tuition for up to 8 semesters. A 15% participation fee based on the mean tuition charge of participating schools will be charged to the student, in addition to regular tuition and fees each year. This program is available for undergraduate students.

  • How to apply: First, apply for admission to ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University. Then contact the Human Resources Office where the student’s parent is employed for specifics on applying and eligibility. A is also required.
  • Deadline: Students must apply for GLCA-TRE by February 1st.
  • Notification: Once admitted to ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University, students will receive confirmation of their GLCA-TRE eligibility from the Financial Aid Office.
  • How this scholarship can affect other aid eligibility: The GLCA-TRE Scholarship will replace any ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University merit scholarship and/or grant funding that the student might have been previously offered. Students can receive, if they meet all other eligibility criteria, federal and state grants, student loans, private scholarships, and/or Federal Work Study in addition to their Tuition Exchange Scholarship.
