In recognition of gifts from Katherine S. and Vincent J. Cahill, ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University establishes the Cahill Internship Fund.
Funding may be awarded to students enrolled full-time in the CAS who are working low- or non-paid jobs or internships or participating in other relevant pre-professional experiences in the allied health fields. The fields include, but are not limited to, global health, public health and health education, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech and language pathology and other rehabilitation services, clinical informatics and clinical research, counseling, biomechanics and exercise physiology, and nutrition and dietetics. These internships should enhance the students' practical experience, work exposure, and/or career opportunities.
Kate and Vincent are longtime supporters of the University, serving as leaders of the Parent Leadership Council when their daughter earned her Bachelors in Exercise Science in 2013. Kate has served on the Board of Trustees since 2017.
