ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ named as one of the best colleges for 2024

ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ is “a place where you can grow as a student, leader and person as you pursue your passions,” according to the .

Once again, the selective guide of over 300 colleges and universities has included ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ as one of the “best and most interesting” colleges in the U.S., Canada and the UK.

ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ was recognized for its rigorous academics, connections to Oregon's state government and courts, collaborative culture, strong undergraduate research opportunities and a wealth of on- and off-campus learning experiences, including an extensive study abroad program.

“ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ students are positive, motivated, smart individuals,” said one student. “They want to give back, but also achieve highly.”

ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s dedicated faculty “push students to achieve” and “are committed to their students as their first priority.”

The university is also distinguished by its rich community, as evidenced by its vast number of clubs, student-run lū’au held by the Hawai'i Club and tradition of throwing friends into the Mill Stream on their birthday.

“ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ is unabashedly itself,” said a student. “Community members from all backgrounds feel very comfortable being themselves and embracing who they are.”
