Biography
Melissa joined the Career Management team in February of 2020. Minutes after receiving her B.A. in Music with an emphasis in Worship Ministry from Simpson University in Redding, California, Melissa moved to the Salem area to marry her childhood best friend. During her time at Simpson, Melissa served as the Lead Student Director of First Year Experience and Transfer Connections in the Retention Department as well as a Campus Host for the Admissions Department. Prior to joining ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ, Melissa worked with local Destination Marketing Organization, Travel Salem, where she was the Guest Services Coordinator. There she gained more knowledge about Salem and the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Valley in her first year of living here than many people learn over a lifetime. She is excited to join the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University community and is happy to call beautiful Oregon “home”.
