Excellent Employment Outcomes

ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Law graduates have a high employment rate because of the preparation that students receive from our Placement Office. The Law School’s Placement Office helps students early in their academic careers prepare for life after law school. Students engage in a variety of activities and programs designed to evaluate their skills and prepare for job interviews. Because law school can be competitive, ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Law has fostered a learning environment where students and faculty alike encourage each other’s success. It helps that ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ students historically do well on the bar exam most years, including a best-in-Oregon 87% first-time pass rate in the most recent testing.

When students begin their job search, the Office of Career Planning & Development works with them to find the position that suits their abilities and desired work environment. After graduation, the  Office continues to support graduates by connecting them to a vast network of resources. This network includes alums and other attorneys that help them gain advice, employment opportunities, and more, regardless of how long it’s been since they completed their studies at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University College of Law.
