The Pacific Northwest Artists Archive (PNAA) was established at the Hallie Ford Museum of Art and now resides at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University's and is managed by . It is a collection of artists' letters, exhibition catalogues, news clippings, and other materials related to their careers in the Pacific Northwest.
Highlights of the archive include papers related to and from the following artists:
Glen Alps, Constance Fowler, Ruth Grover, Carl Hall, Charles Heaney, Betty LaDuke, Jack McLarty, C.S. Price, Mark Sponenburgh, and Jan Zach, among others.
The PNAA complements and provides a research base for the museum's collections of paintings, prints, drawings and sculpture by Pacific Northwest artists, and serves as resource for students and scholars interested in the art of the region. As the PNAA continues to grow, it will become an increasingly useful body of primary sources for those who will write the history of Northwest art.
In 2011, the Hallie Ford Museum of Art, Hatfield Library and ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ University Archives and Special Collections collaborated to produce an online presentation about the life and art of Northwest artist Carl Hall. This presentation, funded through a grant by the National Endowment for the Humanities, is titled .
